The environmental charity, , created Investors in the Environment in 2010 to help organisations across the UK reduce their impact on the environment, save money and time, and get promoted for their green credentials. Since then, iiE have worked with hundreds of organisations through consultancy and accreditation, supporting them to make a positive impact on the planet.
Support and accreditation
Through the iiE eco-accreditation programme, organisations of any size from any sector gain access to expert support and a range of invaluable resources to enable them to put sustainability at the heart of their business.
Member organisations are audited against a stringent set of criteria, which start with adopting an Environmental Policy and developing an Environmental Management System to help them meet their green targets around climate, boosting nature, and preventing waste and pollution.
