This month, we’re really excited to launch our new TV ad! This is the first time we’ve ever put a TV campaign together from pitch to launch, and we’re thrilled to finally be able to share it with you.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re targeting specific regions across the country to reach a whole new group of people who might not know about Ecotricity, but want to do their bit for the planet.

More than just an energy supplier

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re Britain’s greenest energy supplier - but that’s not all. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re pioneers in the fight for a greener Britain, and we’re the only energy supplier to have declared a climate emergency.

This TV advert is a huge moment in Ecotricity’s history as we’re still a relatively small fish in a big pond (or ocean, if you catch our drift) but we’ve definitely done a lot. The more customers we have supporting our mission for a greener Britain, the more new green energy sources we can build.

Five reasons to join Ecotricity

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp turn your bills into mills

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp use the profits from our customersâ€ bills to build more sources of renewable energy ourselves, rather than just using up what’s already out there. This means our customers can be sure that their money is being used for good, which leads on to reason number twoâ€

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re not for dividend

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re transparent about where your money is being used, so we have a monthly newsletter to give you updates on our latest projects.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp don’t greenwash

Not only do we supply 100% green energy, we also generate it - we have 74 windmills, 3 sunmills and we’ve recently completed our very first gasmill too!

If you want a green outcome from your energy bills, you need to be with a supplier like Ecotricity which builds new sources of green energy using renewable resources like the wind and sun.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’ve been fighting climate change for almost 30 years

Back when Dale started Ecotricity, green energy suppliers didn’t exist - in fact, he was laughed out of a meeting for suggesting it. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp founded the global green energy movement and we’re still going strong. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp even built Britain’s first megawatt windmill, as well as the country’s first grid-scale solar park.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp’re a Which? Recommended Provider and Which? Eco Provider

This month, we’re really excited to announce that we’ve been named as a Which? Recommended Provider for Energy Companies 2024, on top of being a Which? Eco Provider. This recommendation is only earned by companies that pass through 15 categories of Which?’s criteria and that are also highly rated by customers, scoring at least 70% in the customer satisfaction ratings. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp received four stars for our overall customer service and quality of communications about energy costs.

today to receive £40 credit per fuel.

Ts and Cs apply. This offer expires on 30th April 2024.

Climate Clock

The Climate Clock is a version of the Doomsday clock that has been running since 1947 - this tracks the risk of global man-made disaster, through man made technology (like nuclear weapons) - displaying the minutes and seconds left before midnight, when disaster strikes. The climate crisis is a small part of the calculations made. The climate clock uses a similar approach, but, focuses only on the climate crisis - which is the biggest and most urgent existential threat we face."The Climate Clock is a countdown to the biggest man-made disaster we face - but also a measure by which we can track our progress - moving from fossil to renewable energy. It shows we have no time to lose - the clock is ticking" Dale Vince, OBE.
