Now you may be thinking why should I go to a vegan festival, is it for me? 皇冠体育app鈥檝e put together five amazing reasons why it should be on your calendar for next year. Trust us 鈥 it was hard to limit it down to five reasons!
1.It鈥檚 a vegan festival!
Yes, that鈥檚 right 鈥 a vegan festival. Vegan Camp Out is the world鈥檚 largest vegan camping festival. The event includes talks, live music, afterparties, yoga/meditation classes, workshops and the best vegan food. This isn鈥檛 your average festival and is one not to be missed.
2.Interesting talks from fascinating people
Not only is there great music across the weekend, but there are also a lot of really interesting talks on veganism and sustainability. Last year they hosted talks such as 鈥How to be a voice for the animals鈥 by Viva! and 鈥The plant-based transition of education鈥 by The Vegan Society - both fantastic friends and partners of Ecotricity!
皇冠体育app even hosted our own talk called 鈥淗idden Ingredients 鈥 how far do we look?鈥, alongside Henry and Ian from BOSH!, Juilet Gellatley from Viva! and our Chief Growth Officer, Paul Sands.
You can watch the full talk below.
In 2024, they鈥檙e welcoming Dr. Michael Greger, Kate Nash and Lee Mack - plus many more. You can see the line-up .
3.The great food
Festivals are known for being all about the music, but you can鈥檛 beat the food either. At Vegan Camp Out there is such a massive selection of tasty vegan food 鈥 you鈥檒l be spoilt for choice. Last year, they had 60 vendors which made it the largest selection of vegan food in UK history.
There are also gluten free and raw options available too.
There really is something for everyone. Members of the Eco Team proudly sampled a lot of the food this year, and let鈥檚 just say we were never hungry.
4. The line-up
Over the years, the Vegan Camp Out line-up has never disappointed. Previously speakers and artists included Benjamin Zephaniah, Simon Amstell, Chris Packham and many more. You can see more
Last year they pulled out all the stops with a fantastic line-up including Romesh Ranganathan, Sam Ryder and Henry and Ian from BOSH!. With DJ sets and live music, the line-up kept the crowds very entertained throughout the weekend.
5.You can now get a half-price ticket
