Ecotricity powers Merlin Entertainments in the UK with 100% renewable electricity

Ecotricity, the world鈥檚 first green energy company, now proudly supplies electricity to many of the UK鈥檚 best known and most popular visitor attractions in a year-long supply deal with Merlin Entertainments UK.
Ecotricity will power all of Merlin鈥檚 attractions with 100% renewable energy from the wind and the sun, including its flagship resort theme parks, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventure and Thorpe Park, alongside聽LEGOLAND庐 Windsor Resort, The Coca-Cola London Eye, Madame Tussauds and SEA LIFE Centres.
Alongside green electricity supply to Merlin鈥檚 UK estate 鈥� Ecotricity鈥檚 planning team are also supporting Merlin鈥檚 sustainability and procurement specialists as they investigate building their own green energy generation and storage assets at a number of its locations.
Ecotricity is also exploring with Merlin further opportunities to promote green energy and raise awareness of the benefits of pursuing sustainable lifestyles.
