Ecotricity moves into Bristol

Ecotricity 鈥� the green energy pioneer聽鈥撀爃as announced the opening of a new office in Bristol, its first in the city. The Ecotricity Tech Hub will open early in the New Year, and the firm is finalising discussions with a provider of city-centre office space to tech-based start-ups and digital teams from leading businesses.
Ecotricity is seeking top digital talent from the city to help transform the experience of its customers, as well as working on a new generation of products to help people manage their carbon footprint and connected homes.
Ecotricity has begun hiring for the office, beginning with a Digital Development Lead and a team of Full Stack Digital Developers. It hopes to have up to 15 people in the city by the end of 2018. Ecotricity鈥檚 Technology & Transformation Director, Dan Goodall will oversee the new Bristol location.
Founded in 1995 by Dale Vince with just one windmill, Ecotricity now supplies over 200,000 customers with green electricity and gas. Ecotricity also created and operates the Electric Highway 鈥� the country鈥檚 first national charging network for electric vehicles聽鈥� and also runs Forest Green Rovers, recently described by FIFA as the 鈥渨orld鈥檚 greenest football club.鈥�
