To get your name in the hat, all you need to do is - and five winners will be chosen at random, it doesn鈥檛 matter how much you donate.
Horse Common, a very special place
Once a damp woodland, Horse Common was drained to plant conifers. If we rewet this area, it can become home again to declining bird species such as lesser spotted woodpeckers, willow tits and butterflies like the silver-washed fritillary.
Horse Common is next to an existing RSPB reserve called Franchises Lodge and the purchase will help connect other habitats 鈥� woodland and heathland 鈥� into a bigger haven for nature.
