I seem to have a slight obsession with burlap flowers, buttons and ribbon cascades! These clusters of hobnail jars full of winter white blooms, look oh so pretty nestled in with some lambs ear and seeded eucalyptus. Here are the ingredients I used to bring this look together.
I started with the Hobnail Jars then gathered a bevy of fun materials like sea glass, striped satin ribbon, various shades of teal ribbon, burlap ribbon, sheer ribbon with silver glitter and white buttons on wire. I then placed some sea glass on the bottom of the jars to add a bit of color and got started on my ribbon cascades. I simple used a floral pick with a wire on the end to string the ribbon onto the pick. I then adhered the pick to the interior of the glass with a piece of floral gummy tape ad finished it off by wrapping the wired button strand around the edge of the vase. Lastly I added the winter blooms which consisted of hydrangeas, feathered tulips, lambs ear and seeded eucalyptus. It came together to create a fun and whimsical look.
