Wedding Farm Tables

It’s official, brides are ditching the ballroom for barn style weddings! While an actual barn may not always be the venue, couples are looking for that rustic, country feel with a touch of whimsy and barnyard charm. Farm tables are the best way to create the perfect farm inspired space whether you are in a tent, country inn, old mansion and yes, even a ballroom! I love these farm tables with over the top decor! Just because you are going for a barn style soiree, you can still have a stunningly styled table-scape that gushes with vintage charm, whimsical details and lush blooms!

Food for thought…

When planning your centerpieces for a farm style table, keep in mind the size and shape of your table. A traditional centerpieces just won’t do. I love the idea of long boxes, greenery runners, and lots of smaller florals tucked in and scattered down the tabletop. I also love an eclectic look with lots of candle clusters and decorative accents like colored glass bottles. You can also take it up a notch by adding a vintage shutter or reclaimed wood runner or add a bit of sparkle with hanging jewels or a sequin overlay. Birch wood or tree trunk charger plates also add a sweet country twist!
