Table~Scape Trends

I recently got together with my girl Angela D’Andrea of Angela Nicole Design to showcase some table-scape trends! We spent the day at the beautiful Rosebank Winery In Bucks County  PA with Deborah Ann Photography with gorgeous rentals by Brillmans Rental Barn! Get ready to be inspired! Check out our “50 Shades of Grey,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” & “Pretty In Pink” inspired table-scape trends!

This season I am loving banquet and square shaped tables and the return of the linen in textured and drapey fabrics over rustic farm tables. Lush garden blooms that pack a powerful punch of wow are taking center stage in unexpected color combos styled into eclectic cluster centerpiece displays with tons of candlelight and sweet details like vintage books and mini bottles of blooms.  Low floral arrangements and taper candles are being favored over traditional tall centerpieces. When it comes to the place settings, layering is key! Dynamic charger plates stacked with vintage style china, custom menus, a sprig of greenery or fruit and a fun twist on the napkin styling makes for a stunningly styled table-scape.

50 Shades of Grey ~ Grey is my favorite color! All the walls in my house are painted grey, I wear grey and yup, my first born’s name is Grayson. So when it comes to setting a stunningly styled table-scape my go to linen choice is grey. It pairs perfectly with wood tones, neutrals, pastels and even bright and cheery hues like lemon and tangerine!

Lemon Zest ~ This look combines dark wood tones with natural wood charger plates and candlesticks from  I’m a big fan of texture and an organic touch so adding things like lemons is a must! I also love adding a pop of unexpected color like the green taper candles and for a touch of whimsy a bottle of Lemon Pellegrino for every guest!

Bold & Beautiful ~ I love bold blooms and lush greenery, pair it with this dove grey linen and it’s oh so pretty! Banquet tables are a go to for brides this season and one look I am in love with is this tall suspended centerpiece. The mixed draping greens are light and airy and let the hanging jars of bold colored blooms take center stage.  Add some candles and stacked vintage books for an eclectic look and you have a pretty fab table-scape oozing with charm.

Dreamy Draped Runners ~ Whats not to love about yards and yards of drapey fabric in various shades of grey! It gives a dreamy ethereal look to any table-scape. This table features small clustered arrangements tucked in tightly together to achieve the look of a floral runner. Pair with gray taper candles in gold candle holders ( drooling ) and mini bottles of blushing Hellebores and yup, I’m in love!

Oblong Obsession ~ Oblong organic shaped centerpieces are the go to centerpiece this season. They look great on oval or banquet tables and their shape allows them to fill up a long table-scape without needing multiple arrangements. Add various height candles for a touch of romance and a layered place setting and you’ve got one stunningly styled table!  Oh and berries, because they always look good!

Breakfast At Tiffany’s ~ We’re going with the whole movie theme here so why not throw in a classic! Couples have been in love with this theme for decades so I decided to give it a vintage spin! With lush luxe blooms tucked into delicate Jardin Jars set atop stacked vintage books this look is off to a great start! Add in tons of candle light from taper to floating to jar candles and this table-scape is glowing. The muted blush and purple hues pop against the tiffany blue linen and the layered place setting with knotted blush napkins and menus complete this look oh so perfectly!

Breakfast At Tiffany’s ~ Angela’s take on this timeless classic was romantic with fresh white blooms with subtle pink accents, sparkling candles and stunning black taper candles that added an unexpected twist!

Pretty in Pink ~ Being “Pretty in Pink” is not always easy but our beautiful model Becky was sure able to pull it off. The bouquet is a delicate mixture of white Hydrangea, peach stock, blush peony, white garden roses, with just a touch of white anemone. To keep this peice light and airy I steered away from any heavy greenery, using just a few pieces of Italian Ruscus and Plumosa. With a beautiful blush linen, the tables are adorned with layers of whites and creams to match the fluffy pink and white floral arrangements. If your groom is not so keen on hot pink florals covering every table of your wedding, a great way to incorporate that fun bright hue is with the dessert display. You can’t go wrong with a table filled with rainbow sprinkled goodies! ~ Angela
