Watering Can Centerpiece

How sweet is this rustically charming floral arrangement in a tin watering can. This oh so pretty centerpiece features shades of pink mixed with lots of lush greens and whites. The feature blooms are roses and peonies while accent flowers like hops, ranunculus and queen annes lace add a touch of whimsy. The shape is loose and organic, perfect for an outdoor wedding or soiree. For this arrangement, I started with a feature bloom and used hydrangea and greenery to build the base and overall shape. I then added in all the large blooms to fill the space followed by the smaller accent blooms that I wanted to stand out a little higher then the bulk of the other flowers to give it an unstructured feel. The final step is filling in any holes by tucking in assorted greens. Using a variety of greens is a great way to add texture and get a more realistic look and feel. What I love about the watering can is that it’s an unexpected accent and looks great on a table-scape or hanging from the handle. Check out all the details below and a DIY tutorial.
